K&F Concept Nano-X Series Magnetic ND filter

K&F Concept Magnetic Circular System is Simply impressive.

There, that's all!

Okay, kidding.
Reducing this review to one sentence would be in bad taste, so here goes.
When we think of filters, what immediately comes to our mind is the bunch of accessories we need: Lens adapter, filter mount, other filters, and so on. The magnetic circular filter came to make this job much simpler and more practical. The kit I received for testing comes with 4 items: 1 lens adapter, 1 UV filter, 1 CPL filter, and an ND 1000 filter, and all this is inside a very well-built bag made of excellent material. When I opened it and saw the material I was really excited to try it out as soon as possible. The filter adapter is the threadable and single diameter. As I have a Canon 17 - 40 mm lens and a Canon 25 - 105 mm lens and both are 77 mm, it was very simple to determine which diameter I would like to use. From the adapter, all other filters magnetically fit, except the UV filter, which is also screw-on. The ND Filters and the CPL filter are made of very resistant material: metal is a glass that promises to be repellent against water, dirt, and scratches. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't be careful with your gear. Once the adapter is in your rig just start stacking the filters and be happy. It is good to remember that this magnetic filter system does not only rely on ND filters. On the K&F website, I was also able to find Black Diffusion filters. In testing, the use of the filter was very pleasant and practical, fulfilling what it promises. The simple way of use gives you more freedom to focus on the most important thing, which is photography.

Strengths:
I described some positive points that I thought were very important:
1 - Quality and color fidelity. The other K&F filters I've used have a good color balance, but this one stood out for the better.
2 - Quality of the material. The system, in general, is to be congratulated because the material is very well built and has a wonderful quality.
3 - Practicality of use. It's never been easier to use an ND filter, especially being able to stack.
4 - Reduction of vignettes. ND filters easily leave vignettes, especially circular ones. In this filter, we see the vignettes, but they are very small and well at the edges, which is easily resolved in editing.
5 - Weight. It is extremely light, not that the others are heavy, but this kit is much lighter.
6 - As the fittings of the filters are very tight, no ray of light enters between them, completely eliminating the flair between the filters.
7 - Cost. For the benefits, they offer, great value for money.

Negative points: As I always say, not everything is perfect.
Some improvement points:

1 - The adapter is for single diameter measurement. To get around this situation you will either have to buy a kit for each different lens diameter or buy a reducer. This reducer that K&F itself offers on their website.
2 - Lack of gradual NDs and Gradual Inverse filters. I couldn't find these filters available for sale on the Brazilian website, despite finding them on the company's website here in Germany, where I live.
3 - The Screw Adapter is very sensitive, so be careful not to dent it.

This kit is a great choice for all photography professionals, whether beginners or seniors. For those who travel a lot to photograph, I'm sure this kit will be a permanent part of their photographic luggage. I'm very happy with the results and the technology they put into this kit.
